Christmas Chicken Ornament Card

December 18, 2023 by Rachel

You can print this ornament card on standard 8.5″ x 11″ paper. The print-out below includes detailed instructions on folding the card into a 3D paper ornament. Printing on card-stock is recommended: regular computer paper will not be stiff enough. You will also need scissors, glue or tape, and a ribbon. Also recommended is something to lightly score the folding lines such as a metal knitting needle or the un-serrated edge of a butter knife.

This ornament card is also available printed on thick glossy card stock through my Zazzle storefront by clicking here. A 5″ x 7″ Christmas card featuring my Rhode Island red hen Miranda Jammy Jam is available here . I used the Miranda Christmas Card to hold the cut-out and partially assembled ornament cards when I mailed these out to friends.

Please note that the color will be a darker burgundy than shown below. The image below is shown in RGB computer monitor colors, which look different than CYMK printing inks.

If you don’t want to fold the card into a 3D ornament, you can cut out each chicken circle and use a hole punch at the top to hang. Or you can use the chicken circles as gift tags.
